This 1997 Volkswagen EuroVan was modified by Winnebago Industries when new and features a pop-up top with a sleeping area as well as swiveling front seats, a flat-folding rear bench, and a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, and two-burner stove. The exterior is finished in white, and additional equipment includes a sunroof, a Fiamma awning, an Alpine CD stereo, and air conditioning. Power is provided by a 2.8-liter VR6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Work performed in the past 2k miles has included servicing the transaxle and replacing the muffler, serpentine belt, oil cooler seals, shocks, and brake rotors. This EuroVan Winnebago Camper is now offered with a van cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.
The 15″ steel wheels wear covers and are mounted with 205/65 Continental Vanco 2 tires. The van is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and braking is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs. The front and rear brake rotors and pads were replaced along with the front and rear shocks. The power steering and brake fluids were flushed at that time.
The cabin features swiveling front seats upholstered in patterned gray cloth, and interior appointments include cruise control, an Alpine CD stereo, and air conditioning.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 6,200-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 79k miles.
The rear compartment is equipped with a flat-folding bench seat, a loft bed, storage cabinets, curtains, a folding table, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a stainless-steel sink, and a two-burner cooktop. The van has a five-gallon propane tank and a five-gallon water tank. One of the refrigerator lights needs to be replaced.
The 2.8-liter VR6 was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, which is routed to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. An oil change was performed, the transaxle was serviced, and the muffler, serpentine belt, fuel filter, cabin air filter, and oil cooler seals were replaced.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
