This Provan Tiger GT pop-top camper is based on a 1993 Chevrolet Astro and is powered by a 4.3-liter V6 joined to a four-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The conversion added a camper rear section with an external spare tire and hookups as well as a ladder and a side door, while inside a loft bed, couch, bathroom, and kitchenette were fitted. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows. This camper is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean title.
The van is finished in white with gray decals and features a pop-up roof, a walk-in side door, a ladder, a spare tire carrier, a receiver hitch, and external hookups. A PVC storage container has been mounted to the rear bumper.
Silver-finished 15” steel wheels wear polished trim rings and are mounted with 235/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drums out back.
The forward cabin features captain’s chairs trimmed in tufted gray cloth with tan door panels and carpets. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows, locks, and mirrors.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 120k miles.
The rear passenger compartment houses a loft bed, an L-shaped couch, a heater, a bathroom, sliding side windows, privacy curtains, 110-volt power outlets, and storage cabinets along with a kitchenette featuring a double sink, a two-burner stove, and a ventilation hood. Discoloration is visible on the window curtains.
The 4.3-liter V6 sends power to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
